Anchor in 9 to 10 meters between the two islands. There are two great hongs on the larger island both of which can be accessed by dinghy. The Southern one is very pretty while the one on the east coast is home to a colony of giant fruit bats, which can be seen rising up from their roosts at dusk. Other wildlife includes monkeys, eagles, hornbills, kingfishers, and large monitor lizards.
Be aware that there is a very strong tidal current during mid tide, and that the boat will swing towards the tide.
Only anchor here on calm days as the anchorage is deep and the current flow is so strong, that the wind against tide can make this an uncomfortable anchorage.
This still falls under the Ao Phangna National Parks and therefor will need to pay park fees for anchoring here.
