This bay is a favorite spot for dive boats during the day but generally quiet overnight. The Island is a protected dive site so strictly no anchoring. Ashore is a beautiful beach with several good restaurants as well as the 5 star Racha Resort. They have a floating dock that you may use for the dinghy if you eat there. In the corner of the bay is the fun and friendly Driftwood Reggae Bar. A footpath leads to an inexpensive Thai Restaurant overlooking the bay from the cliff. Salvatore lizards can be seen here at dusk. There is a path to the north-facing Siam beach which has good snorkeling and a restaurant.
DO NOT ANCHOR HERE – Moorings only
